The Central European Initiative (CEI) and the South East Europe Media Organisation (SEEMO), in special partnership with the Media Program South East Europe of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS), have announced the winners of the “CEI SEEMO Award for Outstanding Merits in Investigative Journalism 2018”: Stevan Dojčinović and Dragana Pećo (Serbia) in the section “Professional Journalists” and Nino Bilajac (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in the section “Young Professional Journalists”.

Inter-Connect and CONNECT2CE Projects: dissemination event and round table discussion held at CEI HQ
On 12 November, the CEI Executive Secretariat hosted the first dissemination and presentation event, open to the public, regarding the Interreg ADRION project Inter-Connect, as well as the roundtable on strategies of cross-border and intermodal connectivity, a topic addressed by the Interreg Central Europe project CONNECT2CE.

The Festival Identity meeting took place on 27-29 October 2018 in the framework of the 22nd Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival. The event confirmed its uniqueness in diversity. It brought together both renowned and new festivals, festival directors as well as more junior members of the festival teams.

Tartini in cooperation with the CEI, the cross-border CEMAN Orchestra was created with the aim of promoting talented young musicians giving them the chance to share professional experience and participate in international music events.
