The Committee of National Coordinators (CNC) of the CEI Member States convened in Trieste on 4 June 2024 for their second meeting under the Albanian Presidency. The agenda included discussions on CEI key institutional activities, administrative matters and project management.
The 1st Committee of National Coordinators Meeting under the Albanian CEI Presidency 2024 at the CEI headquarters in Trieste on 29 February, unveiled a comprehensive agenda of the Presidency aimed at advancing regional cooperation and sustainable development across various sectors.
The third Committee of National Coordinators (CNC) meeting under the Moldovan CEI Presidency took place in Istanbul on 30 May at the premises of the Permanent International Secretariat of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC PERMIS). It followed the Coordination meeting between the BSEC and the CEI at Troika and Secretariat level.
The second meeting of the Committee of National Coordinators (CNC) under the CEI Moldovan Presidency 2023 was held at the Mission of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union (EU) in Brussels on 20 April.
The 1st Committee of National Coordinators Meeting under the Bulgarian CEI Presidency was held in Trieste on 23 February.
During the gathering, Croatia presented its priorities and Calendar of Events, i.e. the high-level meetings planned throughout the year. The CEI Secretariat briefed the CNC on its recent and upcoming activities.
Special attention was also paid to the activities planned for enhancing cooperation among and between the Member States, with the EC as well as with other international institutions.
The 5th Meeting of the Committee of National Coordinators (CNC) under the Belarusian CEI Presidency took place in Salzburg on 25 September, in connection with the Annual Meeting 2017 of the Institute of the Regions of Europe - IRE (24-26 September) with which the CEI has a long-standing cooperation.
Participants focused on the revision of the CEI Guidelines and Rules of Procedure and on the content of the new CEI Plan of Action.
Participants focused on recent and forthcoming events of both the CEI Presidency and of the Secretariat. In particular, the Presidency presented the latest organisational, protocol and logistics regarding the forthcoming meeting of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs in Minsk on 22 June.
Amb. Milos Prica, CEI National Coordinator for BiH, presented the Presidency’s priorities and calendar of events, in particular the envisaged high-level meetings to be held this year.
Special attention was paid to strengthening relations with the EU and its institutions as well as to cooperation with other international and regional organisations.
