The CEI plays an important role in coordinating regional cooperation to diversify energy supplies and mitigate vulnerabilities. It serves as a platform for disseminating information and advocating for regulatory mechanisms to support renewable energy policies.
CEI activities mainly focus on: enhancing international cooperation; providing technical assistance for investment projects; scaling up renewable investments to strengthen energy security and affordability; strengthening the renewable energy capacities and local and regional supply chains; supporting corporate and municipal sectors to identify opportunities to save energy and resources.
