The BiH CEI Presidency organised this year’s Meeting of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the CEI Member States on 16 June in Banja Luka, back to back with the 4th Meeting of the Committee of National Coordinators (CNC).
The gathering was opened by H.E. Igor Crnadak, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who highlighted the importance of regional cooperation in particular in the framework of the CEI, a long-standing intergovernmental forum fostering cohesion and integration among its Member States.

On that occasion, Belarus informed the participants that it was ready to assume the Presidency in 2017.

The CEI Committee of National Coordinators (CNC) gathered for the third time this year in Vienna on 4 May.
The Presidency presented the latest organisational, protocol and logistics regarding the forthcoming meeting of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs in Ohrid on 15 June. It also outlined the topics for discussion and a first draft of the document to be adopted by the Ministers.
The CEI Secretary General presented his 2014 Annual Report and the status of implementation of the CEI Plan of Action 2014-2016.

The CEI Steering Committee (SC) and the CEI Committee of National Coordinators (CNC) met on 17 April 2015 at the Headquarters of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London.

On 3 February 2014, Skopje hosted the first meeting of the Committee of National Coordinators (CNC) under the Macedonian CEI Presidency. It was opened by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Macedonia, Nikola Poposki, who outlined the main priorities of his country.

On the occasion of today’s CEI Summit in Vienna, under the title 25 years of CEI and Future Vision, the CEI Heads of Government adopted a Declaration on the 25 Years of the CEI, accompanied by a publication on the 25 years of CEI 1989 - 2014.

A CEI delegation composed of the Secretary General, Amb. Giovanni Caracciolo di Vietri, the Alternate Secretary General, Amb. Margit Weatsfelt, as well as staff members of the Secretariat paid a visit to Skopje on 16-17 October 2014 in view of the Macedonian Presidency with the Organisation in 2015. The main aim of the visit was to draft a vigorous programme of activities to be realised during next year.

The Committee of National Coordinators (CNC) met in Trieste on 10 October 2014. The main items on the Agenda were the preparation of the CEI Summit; presentation of the activities and achievements of the Italian EU Presidency, in particular regarding the launch of the upcoming EU Strategies on the Adriatic-Ionian and the Alpine Regions as well as overview of the CEI EU-funded Projects and the future prospects, in light of the EU Multiannual Financial Framework 2014-20.

The welcome addresses were delivered by the CEI Secretary General, Ambassador Caracciolo di Vietri, by the Director General of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Science, Research and Economy, Mr. Elmar Pichl, on behalf of the CEI Presidency, and by the President of the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia Region, Debora Serracchiani.

A meeting of the CEI Committee of National Coordinators (CNC) was held today in Vienna. The agenda focused on the preparations of the Meeting of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs taking place tomorrow, 3 June, back to back with the Conference on the Western Balkans. The National Coordinators, in particular, finalised the drafting of the Communiqué, which will be discussed and adopted tomorrow by the Ministers.

The CNC Meeting held after the Steering Committee Meeting on 11 April 2014 in London, focused on the forthcoming activities and events taking place under the Austrian CEI Presidency. Particular attention was paid to the preparations of the Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs on 3 June 2014 in Vienna, back to back with a Western Balkans Conference in the 1914-2014 context, commemorating the anniversary of the outbreak of World War I.
