The 1st Regional Workshop on the UPSHIFT Programme was organised by the CEI in collaboration with UNICEF on 29 November 2024, gathering UNICEF experts and government representatives from CEI Member States at the Organisation's Headquarters in Trieste.
The European Youth Parliament (EYP) held its highly anticipated Presidents’ Summit 2024 in Kraków, Poland, from 19-22 September 2024. This pivotal event, supported by the CEI, brought together 35 youth leaders, including 19 Presidents of EYP National Committees, for an exchange of ideas, knowledge-sharing, and leadership development.
The 13th edition of the Young Bled Strategic Forum (YBSF) took place in Pokljuka, Slovenia from 20 August 30 - 1 September, 2024, gathering 42 young leaders from 30 countries.
The Young Bled Strategic Forum, held on 25-28 August, saw over 40 young leaders from diverse backgrounds convene in a spirit of cooperation, dialogue, and empowerment.
The inaugural gathering on the CEI Youth Agenda was organised on the sidelines of the 18th Bled Strategic Forum (BSF) in Bled, Slovenia on 29 August. The meeting brought together institutional representatives designated by CEI Member States, responsible for shaping youth policies, education, and other vital youth-related matters.
The CEI - Executive Secretariat (CEI-ES) has once again supported this year's OberMUN titled "Debating today for a brighter tomorrow". It is the Model United Nations simulation (MUN) that is annually organised by the Trieste-based high school Liceo Scientifico “Guglielmo Oberdan” involving students from various countries.
Young leaders and experts from 20 countries across and outside the Central European region gathered in Ljubljana and Bled, Slovenia, on 26-28 August, to attend the 11th edition of the Young Bled Strategic Forum under the title “Democracy fit for the new age”.
The 2021 edition of the Summer Seminar for Young Public Policy Professionals focused on “Exploring Post-Covid Recovery Scenarios for Central and South-Eastern Europe” was held in Varna, Bulgaria, on 6-10 September.
