Parliamentary Delegations from the CEI Member States attended the Parliamentary Assembly meeting of the CEI Parliamentary Dimension held in Tirana on 1 October 2024 under the Albanian CEI Presidency.

The International Conference “Tourism in the Eastern and Southeastern Europe – New paths of development” was held in Tirana on 27 September 2024 in the framework of the Albanian CEI Presidency and the Chairmanship of the South-East European Cooperation Process - SEECP.

The European Youth Parliament (EYP) held its highly anticipated Presidents’ Summit 2024 in Kraków, Poland, from 19-22 September 2024. This pivotal event, supported by the CEI, brought together 35 youth leaders, including 19 Presidents of EYP National Committees, for an exchange of ideas, knowledge-sharing, and leadership development.

On 27 September in New York, the Foreign Ministers of CEI Member States gathered for their annual informal meeting, on the margins of the 78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). The meeting, under the Albanian CEI Presidency, held in the format of a working breakfast, was hosted by Albania’s Foreign Minister Igli Hasani.

Building on the success  of the NAMIRS project, a new project funded by the Interreg IPA Adrion Programme, ASAP  - the Adriatic Sensitive Areas Protection - Mechanism, was officially launched on 24 September 2024 at the CEI’s premises.

The 18th Coordination Meeting of Regional Organisations hosted by the CEI – Executive Secretariat in Trieste on 17 September 2024 witnessed the presence of high-level representatives from the Secretariats of regional organisations, such as the Adriatic Ionian Initiative, the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, and the Regional Cooperation Council. Special guests were the European Commission, the Regional School of Public Administration, and the Regional Anti-corruption Initiative.
 By co‐financing capacity building, institutional development and technical assistance projects, the Programme is a development instrument aimed at promoting regional cooperation and boosting the EU integration process.
Monika Herceg, born in 1990 in Sisak, Croatia, is one of the most prominent voices of contemporary Croatian literature.
