KEP Italy: new project supporting know-how exchange in field of environmental and disaster prevention in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro

On 19 June 2014, the first conference of the project “Improving Environmental Monitoring and Disaster Prevention Capacity in Drina river basin – Phase II” was held in Trebinje, Republic of Srspka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The gathering involved the Regional Agency for Disaster Prevention and Environment (ARPA ER) of the Emilia-Romagna region (Italy) as know-how provider and national Hydrometeorological Service of Republika Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina) as well as the Hydrometeorological and the Seismological Institute of Montenegro as beneficiaries.

CEI KEP Italy Project “Training of Internal Auditors in Public Sector in Montenegro”: closing ceremony in Podgorica

Ten tutors and 27 students received their Internal Auditor Certificates obtained in the framework of the project “Training of Internal Auditors in Public Sector in Montenegro” (TIAPS) at the closing ceremony in Podgorica, Montenegro on 6 June 2014.

KEP Italy: 2nd workshop of ENIGMA project successfully held in Prague

Nine scientific contributions were presented during the second workshop of the project “ENvironmental Impact assessment of the Kozuf metalloGenic district in southern MAcedonia in relation to groundwater resources, surface waters, soils and socio-economic consequences  (ENIGMA)”, successfully held in Prague on 16 May 2014.

In the framework of the project “Application of open source software and methods for territorial analysis and sustainable use of natural resources in Belarus” two advanced training sessions for Belarusian officials were held in Turin (1-4 April 2014) and Trieste (7-10 April 2014).

KEP Italy - Trainings for farmers associations and municipal officials successfully held in Bosnia and Herzegovina

In the framework of the project “Smallholders Farmers’ Access to Markets in Eastern and Northern Bosnia-Herzegovina and Northern Albania” a series of trainings for representatives of farmers' associations and municipal officials were held in Bosnia and Herzegovina on 8 April 2014 (in Foca and Gorazde) and on 23 April 2014 (in Bratunac and Posavina).
