In order to collect valuable feedback on S2BIOM project interim outputs from a selected audience of experts, an interactive validation workshop was held in Brussels on June 16, on the occasion of the European Sustainable Energy Week.
In order to further strengthen economic and social development in its non-EU members, the CEI is promoting synergies between the EU-funded project ener2i and the KEP AUSTRIA Project Innovation stimulation for Moldovan SMEs in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energies (CEI-ener2i-MD) promoted by the Austrian Centre for Social Innovation (ZSI).
Ministers, Deputy Ministers and High Officials from the Member Countries of the Central European Initiative (CEI) and from the European Commission met in Trieste (Italy) on 24 September 2014. The welcome addresses were delivered by the CEI Secretary General, Ambassador Caracciolo di Vietri, by the Director General of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Science, Research and Economy, Mr. Elmar Pichl, on behalf of the CEI Presidency, and by the President of the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia Region, Debora Serracchiani.
S2BIOM, Danube-INCO.NET and EBTP-SABS are the three ongoing CEI projects dedicated to promoting the development of bioeconomy in CEI Member Countries presented at the “Scientific Support to the Danube Strategy” event, organised by the European Commission’s Jo
