DSG Zsuzsanna Kiraly recently participated (2 July 2025) in the high-level “Western Balkan Cyber Security Conference 2025 WB CyberPulse 2025: Tracking Progress, Building Resilience, Driving Change” in Podgorica, Montenegro. The gathering was organised by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and the European Commission (EC) in collaboration with the Western Balkan Cyber Capacity Centre (WB3C).
The participants were ministers, EU representatives, cybersecurity experts. Welcome speeches were delivered by Filip Ivanovic Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro and Amer Kapetanovic Secretary General of RCC.
The high-level panels offered an opportunity for a strategic and informed discussion on cybersecurity priorities for the Western Balkans and elaborated on the strategic perspective and the main cyber-security challenges faced by the Western Balkans, with the aim of supporting a regional response.
