The third Committee of National Coordinators (CNC) meeting under the Moldovan CEI Presidency took place in Istanbul on 30 May at the premises of the Permanent International Secretariat of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC PERMIS). It followed the Coordination meeting between the BSEC and the CEI at Troika and Secretariat level.
Upon the initiative of the Moldovan CEI Presidency, on 29 May, the CEI-Executive Secretariat (CEI-ES) participated in a BSEC-CEI Coordination Meeting in Istanbul at the premises of the BSEC’s Permanent International Secretariat (PERMIS), and in the presence of the Troikas of both Organisations (CEI: Moldova – current, Bulgaria – past and Albania – next; BSEC: Serbia – current, Moldova – past and Türkiye – next).
The importance of regional cooperation as a tool for addressing the current challenges and mitigating the impact of the war across the region as well as for further promoting the EU integration process was at the core of the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee of the CEI Parliamentary Dimension, held in Chisinau on 22-24 May under the Moldovan CEI Presidency for 2023.
The second meeting of the Committee of National Coordinators (CNC) under the CEI Moldovan Presidency 2023 was held at the Mission of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union (EU) in Brussels on 20 April.
A delegation from the CEI-Executive Secretariat, led by Secretary General Roberto Antonione, visited Chisinau on 28-29 November for consultations on next year’s CEI Presidency under the Republic of Moldova.
