The CEI-funded project within the COVID-19 Extraordinary Call/Know-how Exchange Programme, PPE HEALTH PORTAL, has created a reference portal for the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) sector and telemedicine solutions.
With a total contribution of over EUR 220.000, the CEI Fund at the EBRD will enable the realisation of six capacity building projects that will be implemented in the period 2021-2022.

The Italian Health Institute (Istituto Superiore di Sanità – ISS), has recently kicked off two projects financed by Italy in the framework of the CEI COVID-19 Extraordinary Call for Proposals. The 7th edition of the International Master in Public Procurement Management (IMPPM) will kick off at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome on 5 March. The IMPPM is jointly organised by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the University of Rome ToR Vergata (Italy) and co-financed by the CEI Fund at the EBRD contributed by Italy. At the opening ceremony, a keynote address will be delivered by Mr. Antonio Capobianco, Acting Head of the OECD Competion Division.
The First Committee of CEI National Coordinators' meeting was held in Rome on 22 February. The Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi opened the gathering which witnessed the approval by the CEI National Coordinators of four technical cooperation projects to be supported by the CEI Fund at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), financed by Italy (2018 budget).

The final conference of the capacity building project “Support for Strengthening Energy Regulatory Authorities in the Western Balkans” was held in Budva - Montenegro on 12 October gathering representatives from the beneficiary countries, Albania, Serbia and Montenegro, as well as from the European Commission, the Energy Community, and energy stakeholders.
