On 11-16 June in Varna, Bulgaria, the Economic Policy Institute (EPI) organised the 23rd edition of its annual cross-sectoral forum - the Summer Seminar for Young Public Policy Professionals, under the title “Future Scenarios for Central and Eastern Europe in Times of Uncertainty”.
The Know-how Exchange Programme project financed by Italy through the CEI Fund at the EBRD successfully concluded its activities yesterday, during a virtual conference where results were presented to sector stakeholders in the two target countries.
Local councilors and members of civil society organisations (CSOs) from CEI Member States recently took part in two online modules (15, 16 September) and one offline module (Novi Sad, Serbia on 3-8 October) within a series of courses titled “Boosting social inclusion in see: policy hackathon for municipalities”.
The Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI), together with the National Institute for Justice, organised the 17th edition of the Summer School for Junior Anti-corruption Practitioners from Southeast Europe. The event, co-financed through the CEI Cooperation Fund - endorsed by the Bulgarian CEI Presidency - took place on 4-8 July in Sofia
The activity will focus, in particular, on strengthening the inter-institutional cooperation by reinforcing the capacities of Government officials engaged in the sector by involving the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the Ministry of Interior, the Cabinet of the Minister for Diaspora, the State Statistical Office, the National Bank, and the Office of the Prime Minister.
The PRE-RIGHTS project was presented at the international Joint Event “Judicial and Police Cooperation: Best Practices” organised in Venice on 22-23 September by Agenfor International Foundation in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Justice.
