Offering citizens and tourists more attractive connections and integrated ticketing solutions is the main goal of the recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) related to the integrated bus-&-train ticket realised within the CEI-led FORTIS project.

Within the framework of the FORTIS project, the Municipality of Koper in co-operation with the University of Ljubljana (Faculty of Maritime and Transport Studies) carried out a feasibility study entitled "Cross-border Maritime Connections for Passenger Transport between Slovenia and Italy".
The partners of the FORTIS project have recently finalised a study examining public passenger transport and intermodality in the cross-border area between Italy and Slovenia.
In the framework of the FORTIS project on 17-18 June, the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia organised an online workshop on the harmonisation of administrative procedures between Italy and Slovenia in the fields of vehicle registration, licensing and emergency management.
