The Foreign Affairs Committee of the Italian Senate has unanimously approved a resolution aimed at strengthening the Central Euopean Initiative.

On 26–27 June 2025, the CEI-Executive Secretariat  (CEI-ES) participated in the fourth TREASURE project meeting in Bar, Montenegro.

On 25–26 June 2025, the international conference DisCo 2025 – Empowering Futures: Leveraging Digital Technologies in Education for Youth, Women, and Vulnerable Groups was held in Prague at the Microsoft premises.

The CEI-Executive Secretariat participated in the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Adriatic and Ionian Initiative (AII), held on 27 June 2025 in Ancona, Italy, an important milestone in advancing regional cooperation across the Adriatic-Ionian Region.

The CEI has recently contributed to advancing maritime environmental governance in the Adriatic through a regional workshop held in Kotor, Montenegro on 25 June 2025.

From 9 to 13 June 2025, the XXV Anniversary Summer Seminar for Young Public Policy Professionals was held in Albena, Bulgaria.

 The CEI has recently participated (18 June 2025) in the conference Enhancing Road and Rail Connectivity in the Adriatic-Ionian Region in Portoroz, Slovenia organised by the Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce.
