The CEI joins the many around the world mourning the loss of Pope Francis, an authoritative voice of our time, who, until the very end, bore witness to a pontificate committed to addressing imbalances and inequalities in the pursuit of justice and peace among peoples.

Last October the CEI was granted observer status at the intergovernmental committees of the Council of Europe’s Youth Department.

On 15 April 2025, the CEI Committee of National Coordinators gathered at the premises of the Serbian Mission to Brussels, under the Serbian CEI Presidency 2025.
