The Meeting was opened by President of the Parliament, Honourable Làszlo Köver and chaired by the President of the Parliamentary Dimension, Richárd Hörcsik.
The CEI Fellowship winner was selected by the Fellowship Jury composed of Patrizia Vascotto (Italy) as President, Namita Subiotto (Slovenia) as Vice President, Ludwig Hartinger (Austria), Dragica Potocnjak (Slovenia) and Jani Virk (Slovenia):
Promoting cross-border territorial development, enhancing access to culture and cultural production, supporting young musicians, overcoming physical, cultural and political barriers: these are the objectives at the core of the first edition of the Cross-border Music Festival ECHOS, which will take place in Italy and Slovenia from 19 July to 12 September 2013.
Last 28 June the CEI participated in the EU Conference «Improving passengers’ mobility through ICT enabled multimodal information provision», organized in Thessaloniki, and presented the "Rail4SEE" project. The conference gathered local and national stakeholders and experts, representatives of national railway operators, the South-East Europe Programme representatives etc.
The previous day the CEI took part in 3rd Management and steering group partner of the RAIL4SEE project - Rail Hub Cities for South East Europe.
On 27 June 2013 the concluding seminar of the project “Know-how for Donetsk Region – strengthening of administrative structures and regional development in Ukraine” was held in Poznan. The project is supported by the CEI in the framework of the Know-how Exchange Programme (KEP) and co-financed by Italy through the CEI Fund at the EBRD.
The South East Europe Programme (SEE) Annual Event 2013 took place on 19 June, 2013 in Bucharest, Romania with the aim to sum up SEE achievements for the period 2007-2013 in view of the new Programmes in the area.
The first session focused on main macro-regional strategies and policies as the basis for the development of the Programmes: the Danube Strategy for the Danube Programme and Adriatic-Ionian Strategy for the South East Gateway.
