Deputy Secretary General Ivana Pejović represented the CEI-Executive Secretariat on 27 October, at the 76th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe, taking place in Copenhagen.
The session brought together health ministers, high-level delegates, partner organisations and civil society to address shared health priorities across the European Region. The agenda included primary health care, healthy ageing, artificial intelligence in health, the prevention of noncommunicable diseases, and mental health and well-being.
Her presence reaffirmed the CEI’s commitment to regional cooperation on health, highlighting the importance of dialogue and knowledge sharing in supporting stronger health systems and better access to care.
The participation builds on the CEI’s long-standing partnership with the WHO Regional Office for Europe, launched in 2020 to promote health and well-being through regional cooperation.
