After three years the EU project COME-IN! led by the CEI-ES is coming to an end. The closing event is taking place at the European Parliament in Brussels alongside the first Award Ceremony of the COME-IN! Label.

The Consulta Regionale delle Persone Disabili e delle loro famiglie FVG Onlus, partner of the COME-IN! project led by the Central European Initiative, will present the COME-IN! Label at the Salone del Parlamento of the Castle of Udine at 16.30 p.m.

The label will be assigned to the museums which will have applied the accessibility standards developed in the course of the project. 

The Museum of the Sea, SERGEJ MAŠERA of Piran, partner of the COME-IN! project, will present the COME-IN! label and final project results at the Information Centre of Monfort at Portorose at 10.00 a.m.

Under the title ‘(Re)sources of (In)stability’, the 14th Bled Strategic Forum, is taking  place in Ljubljana/Bled, Slovenia from on 2-3 September. Participants will discuss the role of (re)sources regarding peace and security, sustainable development and economic progress. 

The Central European Initiative is supporting the Forum, particularly through a panel titled Western Balkans – Europeisation, Democratisation, Shared Responsibility.

The CNC is gathering in Rome on 10 October. On top of the Agenda: follow up of recent activities such as the MFA meetings in Trieste and New York in June and September respectively. Special attention will be paid to the Business and Local Dimensions and other activities of the Secretariat. A number of projects received within the Know-how Exchange Programme Call for Proposals 2019 will be examined and the related amounts approved.

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CEI Member States are holding their traditional informal meeting in New York on 25 September 2019, on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly (74th  Session)

The CEI-Executive Secretariat together with Italy, holding this year's CEI Presidency, is organising a CEI side–event at the margins of the United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development 2019. The event, under the title “The contribution of regional cooperation and partnerships to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda: the experience of the Central European Initiative”, is taking place on 17 July 2019 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
