The 14th edition of the Young Bled Strategic Forum (Young BSF), titled What values?, is set to bring together 49 ambitious young professionals from 26 countries to explore one of the most pressing questions in global politics today: How do values drive world politics – and what does the state of the
world tell us about the values we hold?
As the world shifts increasingly towards realpolitik, Young BSF 2025 turns its attention to the role of values – both personal and institutional – in shaping today’s political decisions. Through three thematic pillars, participants will examine the crisis of the rules-based international order, the stalling fight against the climate emergency, and the personal experiences of practitioners navigating the often-painful tension between ideals and
reality.
