On 13 February 2026, the CEI – Executive Secretariat participated in the international conference Dream Job Navigator – Visegrad Edition, held at the Slovak National Gallery in Bratislava and organised by School To Go with the support of the International Visegrad Fund.
The conference provided a platform for cross-sector dialogue on the integration of Ukrainian youth in Slovakia, Poland and Hungary, bringing together representatives of governments, international organisations, employers, education institutions and civil society.
The programme was structured around four thematic blocks addressing policy perspectives, labour market trends, employers' expectations and innovative career guidance practices that can be integrated into education systems and at city level. Representatives of Ukrainian ministries, international organisations such as IOM, UNHCR and UNICEF, and private sector actors made high-level contributions.
During the session on international frameworks and approaches, Slavena Radovanovic Lolic, Senior Executive Officer, presented the CEI’s experience of integrating the UNICEF UPSHIFT programme into educational systems in the region. She emphasised its focus on entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, teamwork and real-world problem-solving skills to equip young people with the necessary skills to thrive in the future labour market.
By participating in the conference, the CEI has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening youth empowerment, human capital development and regional cooperation across Central and Eastern Europe.
