About 100 participants attended today’s webinar organised by the CEI-ES on the topic Funding opportunities for digital health in 2021-2027. Participants expressed a strong interest in funding opportunities for digital health in the Digital Europe Programme presented by Ms.

The Parliamentary Committee of the CEI Parliamentary Dimension met on 15 June for an online meeting under the title “Promotion of equality and solidarity mechanisms in health care”.

The CEI-funded forum organised by the cluster of health, wellness and tourism this year took place in a hybrid mode (in Belgrade and online) on 15 April.

The meeting held under the Montenegrin Presidency 2021 will be an opportunity to reaffirm the CEI Member States' commitment to regional cooperation and multilateralism, while focusing on the ultimate goal of EU membership. Hence, the discussion will tackle the main steps needed to strategise the process, with an eye on enlargement methodology and regional mechanisms. The discussion will then cover relations with the Eastern Partnership Countries. Participants will also review the measures taken to mitigate COVID-19, with a focus on vaccination.

The international symposium will centre on diplomacy, economics, science and religion. CEI Secretary General Roberto Antonione will moderate the keynote address by Giorgio Marrapodi, Director General of Development at Italy's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, which will focus on the Italian cooperation in the world. 

 

The CEI has recently participated in the WHO-led ministerial and expert subregional meeting on health and well-being in the Western Balkans.

The CEI-funded conference is organised by the Italian Society of Science and Technology Studies in collaboration with the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Trieste. The conference reflects on the complex and ambivalent role of technoscience and innovation in constituting societies – making possibilities flourish, but also creating new vulnerabilities.
