The Steering Committee Meeting of the project CONNECT2CE (Improved rail connections and smart mobility in Central Europe) took place in Bolzano (Italy) on 23-24 May, on the premises of EURAC (project partner). Project partners gathered to review the completed and ongoing activities of the project, as well as to discuss the upcoming ones.
During the SC meeting, partners presented the state-of-the-art of the project, verifying the completion of the territorial analysis phase and finalisation of transnational tools for improving peripheral and cross-border passenger transport in Central Europe. The partners also discussed the start of the pilot action phase and confirmed its progress.
The 8 pilot actions planned to take place in CONNECT2CE partner countries, alongside with already finalised transnational tools, will enable - as a final outcome of the project - the drafting and adoption of 10 territorial strategies.
