Meeting on Biodiversity Protection Across Borders - Legal Watch Over Extractive and Energy Industries

The meeting on Biodiversity Protection across Borders is taking place in Zagreb, Croatia on 27 March 2020. The aim of the meeting is to train and support civil society in non-EU CEI countries in the Western Balkans and to transfer know-how from EU to non-EU CEI Member States. Furthermore, the meeting will focus on the knowledge exchange and discussions about natural capital and biodiversity protection in relation to EEI (Extractive and Energy Industries) developments. The main activities will be to create a network of target countries, do the initial mapping their needs, presentations and lectures from legal experts on the use of international law in protecting the natural capital and biodiversity.

This activity of co-financed under the CEI Cooperation Fund.
