The course aims to build capacities in Science Diplomacy, tracing its evolution in European and global contexts and applying it to real-world cases. In line with Goal 2.10 of the CEI Plan of Action 2024–2026, it encourages the active involvement of practitioners and stakeholders from CEI countries in the evolving debate on Science Diplomacy, further advanced in 2025 by key publications such as “A European Framework for Science Diplomacy – Recommendations of the EU Science Diplomacy Working Groups” (European Commission) and “Science diplomacy in an era of disruption” (The Royal Society and the American Association for the Advancement of Science).
Participants will engage with top-level speakers and lecturers through 16 teaching modules, 3 interactive workshops, 1 study visit and 1 panel discussion, fostering both conceptual understanding and practical skills.
