On 19–20 February 2026, Deputy Secretary General Zsuzsanna Király participated in the qAID Final Conference, held at the University of Trento.
The qAID project — Towards Contemporary Knowledge and Innovative Tools for Assessing and Enhancing the Effectiveness of Asset and Interest Disclosure Systems — aims to strengthen transparency and public trust by providing EU Member States and candidate countries with advanced tools to assess and improve their national disclosure systems.
In her opening remarks, Deputy Secretary General Zsuzsanna Király emphasised the CEI's commitment to supporting Member States in building resilient and transparent institutions. She emphasised that this objective is closely linked to the CEI's core mission of advancing European integration and fostering regional cooperation to promote stability and good governance.
Asset and Interest Disclosure (AID) systems play a crucial role in enhancing institutional integrity, especially for candidate countries advancing on their path towards EU accession.
