4helix+ Project: Transnational Brokerage Event

Start date
Location
Zadar (Croatia)

In the framework of the 4helix+ project, the Transnational Brokerage Event will be held in Zadar (Croatia), on 11 April 2019.

The gathering aims at providing an effective matching between Knowledge Providers (RD&I bodies and skilled enterprises having specific expertise in the fields of Cultural and Creative Industries or being ‘Non Institutional New Innovation Agents’ such as fab-labs, makers, co-working spaces, living labs etc.) and SMEs/Start–ups operating in Blue Growth sectors (fishing, aquaculture, coastal and maritime tourism, shipbuilding, blue biotechnologies, etc).

During the one day event, that will be organised by the Croatian Chamber of Economy – Zadar County Chamber, Blue SMEs/Start-ups and Knowledge Providers already registered in 4helix+ KP Gallery will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and explore cooperation opportunities, while project partners and experts in Blue Growth and innovation will coordinate meetings among the two categories of participants, creating an environment favourable for cross-fertilisation.

In particular, participating SMEs/Start-ups will be facilitated in finding suitable Knowledge Providers to cooperate with in solving small innovation problems and possibly drafting innovative projects for the 4helix+ Call for Expression of Interest for Innovation Vouchers.

4helix+ is funded under the Interreg MED Programme. It aims at stimulating, coaching and funding creative innovation within the blue economy in the Mediterranean (MED) area, by improving the gap between the 8 Mediterranean regional maritime clusters and within their four helixes, through an open source, knowledge-sharing, and community-based approach. The CEI - Executive Secretariat is leading the project’s communication activities (WP Communication).
