The meeting of the General Committee on Political and Home Affairs of the CEI Parliamentary Dimension was held on 11-12 February in Sofia, at the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria, under the leadership of Nikolay Aleksandrov, Chairperson of the Comm

Secretary General Roberto Antonione presented the CEI action in support of science diplomacy during an event focused on the launch of the publication “Trieste for Science – Sharing Innovation for Change”.

The Meeting of the CEI Parliamentary Dimension General Committee on Political and Home Affairs on "CEI contribution to the European integrational processes in the region of the Western Balkans – synergy and perspectives” is taking place in Sofia on 11-12 February.  

The event is organised within the CEI Pariliamentary Dimension which along with the Governmental and the Business Dimensions, is positioned as one of the three pillars of the CEI.

In the framework of INTERREG ADRION project BLUE_BOOST<

In the framework of the CEI Know-how Exchange Programme (KEP) financed by the CEI Fund at the EBRD, the project TRAIN-DIE started with a kick-off meeting held in Parma on 18 January 2019.

A delegation of the CEI-Executive Secretariat (CEI-ES), led by Secretary General Roberto Antonione, is making a tour in the Member States.

The CEI Award 2019 (3,000 EUR) at the Trieste Film Festival goes to the Serbian film director Želimir Žilnik “for his aesthetic and intellectual consistency that have made him a leading author of Yugoslavian cinema.

On 21-23 January, CEI Secretary General Roberto Antonione is starting his visits to the CEI Member States with the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

The AgriDro workshop in Novi Sad on 22 November - envisaged to gather more than 20 participants from 12 CEI countries - aims at increasing the capacity and adaptation of specialists in the CEI region to the negative (drought) impact of climatic variability on agricultural production in the mid and lower Danube basin and at preventing water shortages.

The lectures will mainly focus on capacity building to gain knowledge on methods for analysing durations and times of drought during vegetation season.
