The CEI - Executive Secretariat (CEI-ES) has supported once again this year's OberMUN titled "Diplomacy: Our path to peace". It is the Model United Nations simulation (MUN) that is annually organised by the Trieste-based high school Liceo Scientifico “Guglielmo Oberdan” involving students from various countries.
The CEI-ES was represented by Deputy Secretary General Zsuzsanna Kiràly who partecipated in the inaugural ceremony in Trieste on 4 April 2025.
In her welcome speech she confirmed that one of the CEI’s primary goals was to support young people together with the CEI Member States. In order to meet the missions of the CEI, the organization offers its Member States a platform for political dialogue and multilateral diplomacy. She added that youth initiatives were key players for pursuing the CEI’s mission.
