On 10 January, the CEI - Executive Secretariat kicked-off the year, with the new Secretary General, Franco Dal Mas, and the Italian National Coordinator, Ambassador, Sem Fabrizi. The gathering served as a platform for the CEI staff to introduce their respective activities and discuss the collaborative initiatives that will define the Organisation's projects moving forward.
Each staff member took the opportunity to outline specific roles and ongoing initiatives, ensuring that all parties were aligned in their goals and expectations for the upcoming year.
Secretary General, Franco Dal Mas - who assumed his role on 1 January - expressed his enthusiasm for working closely with the staff and emphasised that the Organisation’s success depended on leveraging the expertise of its diverse team. In this setting, he recalled the strong support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to the CEI under the impetus of Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani.
Meanwhile, Italian National Coordinator, Ambassador Sem Fabrizi reiterated the significance of Italy’s role within the CEI and reaffirmed the country’s dedication to supporting the initiative's objectives.
