The 6th International Rural Tourism Congress held in Split (Croatia) on 10-13 April gathering more than 300 Congress participants from 28 countries recognised experts, scientists, and panelists sharing their knowledge and experiences confirmed that rural tourism is sustainable, digital, and inclusive.
On 30 - 31 May, experts, scientists, and conservationists from the Danube River Network of Protected Areas (DANUBEPARKS) gathered in Văleni (Moldova), to attend the CEI Conference "DANUBEPARKS Newt Conservation Partnership & Climate Change", addressing the challenges posed by climate change and promoting biodiversity conservation.
On 19 May, the Montenegrin Pan-European Union organised the international conference “Improving climate resilience: connecting the European Green Deal and the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans through the UN Sustainable Development Goals and their indicators” in Podgorica.
On 29 March, the Consortium of the CEI-led NAMIRS project gathered in Rijeka, Croatia to discuss the advancement of activities and to plan upcoming actions.
At the press conference for the launch of the Barcolana Sea Summit, taking place in Trieste at the beginning of October, the NAMIRS project was presented as one of the major joint initiatives for the protection and safeguarding of the sea as a common resource.
