Opening of accessible-for-all exhibition “Prehistory in the hands” of the Archeological Museum of Istra – Pula, Croatia

As Lead Partner of the EU project “COME-IN!” for the accessibility of Museums, the CEI attended the launch of the new exhibition “Prehistory in the hands” of the Archeological Museum of Pula, in Croatia on 14 June.

In line with the COME-IN! Guidelines, the museum - one of the 14 project partners - has completed a set of infrastructural and communication interventions funded by the Interreg Central Europe Programme, launching a child-friendly and fully accessible exhibition.

The exhibition gives visitors the chance to feel and experience pre-historic Istrian objects with the creation of several tactile replicas, the re-creation of a cave-dark room as well as the environment of pre-historic people.

The exhibition will be free of charge for the first two weeks and will offer adapted guided tours on demand.
