Science at CERIC represents the unique opportunity to bring together directors and researchers from all the CERIC Facilities to boost stakeholder interaction on ongoing activities, joint research topics, achievements and future development plans.

The Joint Workshop in collaboration with UNICEF taking place at the CEI Headquarters will focus on the innovative UPSHIFT programme.

Organised by the CEI - Executive Secretariat in cooperation with the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and the Transport Community Permanent Secretariat, the aim of the event is to present the study carried out by Politecnico Milano on the improvement of passenger rail connections along the route Trieste  - Ljubljana – Zagreb  - Belgrade and to launch a discussion on the enhancement of rail passenger connectivity in the whole Adriatic Ionian Region.
