New Project "PROCAREFUL" on proactive home care services for older and vulnerable people kick starts in Treviso

The PROCAREFUL project  -  co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the Interreg Central Europe (CE) Programme -  formally started its activities in Treviso on 14-15 March.

Nine partners from Italy, Germany, Hungary, Poland, and Slovenia met at the premises of the Italian Ecosystem Partner ISRAA (Istituto per Servizi di Ricovero e Assistenza agli Anziani), which coordinates the consortium. The parties discussed the structure and working plan of the project for the coming years, decided on the operational rules and procedures, and defined the monitoring plan of activities. It was also a valuable opportunity to exchange views on the different activities and steps to be taken towards the realisation of the PROCAREFUL model for hybrid home care services.

The Central Europe Programme Joint Secretariat representative assigned to the project, Ms. Jana Vanecek,  provided valuable insights and indications to familiarise with the new CE programme rules.

The CEI-Executive Secretariat will be responsible (as WP3 leader) for the social impact evaluation of the PROCAREFUL model and the development of the strategic policy guidelines, which will be based on concrete experiences to inform policymakers and stakeholders and scale up innovative care models.

Partners will meet again in the upcoming fall to evaluate the work carried out on the research and literature review on e-care, m-health (mobile-health) solutions, existing good practices at EU level, and findings that will feed the PROCAREFUL model implementation.
