Due to the pandemic caused by the outbreak of COVID-19, the core activities and services have been severely weakened worldwide. In light of the difficulties affecting schools, working environments, and the healthcare system in particular, the CEI wishes to promptly support its Member States by launching an Extraordinary Call for Proposals tackling specific needs at the local level.
Schools and other working environments will have, for example, the opportunity to activate remote learning/working as well as health centres the tools for telemedicine.
- Target areas: healthcare and telemedicine (MED), education and e-learning/distant learning (EDU), and Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs).
- Eligibility: all public and private entities based and registered in a CEI Member State as well as international/regional organisations.
- Total Budget: EUR 600.000. Applicants can request a CEI grant up to 100% of the value of their project, or up to a maximum of EUR 40.000.
- Priority to: entities and citizens of non-EU CEI Member States.
The call is envisaged to be launched on Friday, 27 March and will be open for two weeks (Deadline: 9 April 2020).
