The 10th CEI Regional Forum for Health, Wellness & Spa Industry held in Belgrade (Serbia) on 22 October aimed at safeguarding cultural heritage, cultural tourism and development of wellness tourism based on spa heritage and tradition. The mission of the event was to promote sustainable development of wellness and spa tourism by providing know-how transfer based on latest trends and best practice examples.
The gathering witnessed participants from 10 CEI Member States who highlighted the importance of wellness and spa as well as the protection of archeological sites and traditional spa architecture considered important European heritage.
The forum was organised by the Wellness Cluster Serbia, a member of the European Spa Association (ESPA) and supported by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunication of the Republic of Serbia and by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia.
