The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Crnadak, opened the gathering held in New York on 22 September.
He informed participants on the activities planned for the rest of the year under the BiH CEI Presidency, and announced the CEI Summit taking place in November.
Since in 2011 the CEI was granted observer status in the United Nations General Assembly by resolution 66/111, participants received information regarding the upcoming UN resolution on cooperation between the CEI and the UN. Special attention was also paid to the Migration Crisis and Brexit.
