On 17 June the CEI attended the 49th plenary meeting of the SEE Health Network, which this year focused on soft power and innovation, digital health innovation ecosystems, advanced nursing roles and leadership and emergency preparedness.
The National Health Coordinators and/or Alternates of the Member States to the SEEHN, directors of the SEEHN Regional Health Development Centers (RHDC), representatives from the partner countries and partner international organizations and guests gathered to address emerging challenges and opportunities for strengthening health system resilience in the SEE region, with specific focus on the growing importance of innovation, digital transformation, workforce empowerment, and cross-sectoral cooperation.
The CEI contributed to the event with some best examples of digital tools applied in the field of healthy and active ageing in the framework of two EU funded projects, PROCAREFUL and SOSPHERE, both funded under Interreg Central Europe Programme.
The meeting was also a chance to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Southeast Europe Health Network, a unique platform for advancing health, resilience and collaboration across South-Eastern Europe.
