On 3 June, the CEI-Executive Secretariat hosted a conference titled "The European Union’s Future in the New World Order," which was jointly organised with the Hungarian Diplomatic Academy and the Central European Lawyers Initiative.
The event featured engaging presentations on the future of EU tech and digital policy, alongside pivotal discussions on European defense and security policy, as well as digital and sustainability challenges.
In her welcoming remarks, CEI Deputy Secretary General Zsuzsanna Király underlined the significance of the discussions. She noted that the conference addressed issues of paramount importance and that perspectives on these matters currently vary across Europe.
"We didn't all assess them in the same manner," she stated, adding that "this divergence underscores the need for a wise, calm, and professional exchange of ideas."
