On 20 -21 March 2025, THE PRO.CARE.FUL consortium met in Budapest to discuss the latest outcomes related to the testing of the PRO.CARE.FUL hybrid model, evaluate the first results and their impact, as well as plan forthcoming scaling up events and results .
The hybrid PRO.CARE.FUL model was developed jointly to improve the well-being of seniors and support formal and informal carers in care provision. The primary goal is to create an innovative platform that bridges the gap between traditional care practices and modern technology, enabling proactive care focused on preventing decline while empowering seniors.
After the initial training of the selected participants (both seniors and caregivers), in September 2024, partners started the testing of the model in five project pilot sites (Croatia, Germany, Poland, Italy, and Slovenia). The testing will involve 135 adults over 55s, their informal caregivers, and healthcare professionals as formal carers. During the meeting the piloting partners provided their results, regarding feedbackfrom users and their progress in improving healthy habits and consequently their quality of life.
Partners discussed the results assessment, as a necessary step towards the social impact evaluation and preparation of policy strategies for the adoption PROCAREFUL Hybrid home care model in Central Europe.
The CEI-Executive Secretariat is responsible for the latter activity and during the meeting a detailed plan of the next steps to be taken in the evaluation process was presented and discussed with the participants.
