The 12th CEI Venice Forum for Contemporary Art Curators, organised by the Trieste Contemporanea Committee, is taking place in Venice, at the Academy of Fine Arts, on 8 May 2026 under the topic “Criteria of Memoria. Navigating Memory and Preservation in Contemporary Art”.
Experts and curators from Central and Eastern European countries will engage in a dialogue on the critical processes of curation, preservation, and the legacy of cultural artefacts, as well as on models for developing new projects and new understanding of the construction of memory in contemporary art.
The Forum is a biennial event - held in close connection with the Venice Biennale opening - dealing with cultural promotion and the exchange of curatorial experiences.
