The HERCULES Specialized Course (HSC) introduces participants to the different techniques offered by CERIC Partner Facilities along with their applications. The program incorporates introductory sessions to each facility, practical sessions on various beam lines and instruments, a poster session and networking activities.
The course is organised with the aim of promoting international scientific cooperation and initiatives to support science diplomacy. In that regard, the event will support in creating bridges in scientific research and collaborations, and reducing the barriers that prevent researchers from target countries to create a strong user community.
Out of 40 registrations from 17 different countries, the HSC scientific evaluation board selected 13 researchers from CEI Countries (Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine).
