In line with the spirit of “GO! Borderless” - the guiding theme of Nova Gorica/Gorizia European Capital of Culture 2025 - the CEI Piano Forum, organized by Piano FVG, will once again use Culture and Music as vehicles to promote intercultural dialogue and European values. Supported by the CEI Cooperation Fund, the Forum will feature an International Conference focusing on cultural, artistic, and experiential “borders” within the CEI region.
The conference will bring together competition organizers, jury members, educators, and young musicians to exchange best practices and explore key thematic “borders” in today’s cultural landscape, between artistic and cultural genres and the perception of “borders” from the direct experience of young musicians, the public and stakeholders participating in the Forum: accessibility to culture, audience development, issues related to the gap still existing in gender equality, difficulties in the mobility of artists and culture professionals. Some of the issues will be explored through a live online public survey during the event.
The Forum will conclude with a concert by CEI musicians at the ITLAS Showroom in Sacile, showcasing talent from Central and Eastern Europe on a Fazioli grand piano.
