The CEI-funded event organised by the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia is aimed at developing arbitration as an alternative method of dispute resolution and approximate the Macedonian arbitration practice to the European experiences. The two-day conference will be dedicated to current topics in the area of arbitration, specifically, the impact of globalization and the COVID-19 pandemic on arbitration, achieving efficiency in arbitration proceedings, the use of arbitration in key sectors, recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitration awards in Central and Eastern European countries, as well as the legitimacy of international arbitration.
Prominent experts, theoreticians, practitioners from the country and abroad will take part as Conference speakers, including lawyers from world-leading law firms, arbitrators with decades of experience, and university professors with vast knowledge in the area of arbitration.
Participation in the Conference is free of charge.
The working languages during the Conference will be Macedonian and English. Simultaneous translation will be provided.
