Slovenia, PM-elect Jansa presents the lists of the ministers

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 29 - Slovenian Prime Minister-Elect Janez Janša presented a list of 15 ministerial candidates to the National Assembly, after coalition partners approved their own candidates. The parliamentary hearings could begin on Monday, with an emergency session to confirm the cabinet scheduled for Thursday, according to Slovenian news agency STA. Jansa's SDS has proposed the following candidates as ministers: Andrej Šircelj (finance), Franci Matoz (interior and public administration), Tone Kajzer (foreign and EU affairs), Borut Rončevič (education, science, and youth), Polona Rifelj (environment and spatial planning), Ignacija Fridl Jarc (culture), and Suzana Lep Šimenko (minister without portfolio for Slovenians abroad). The NSi-SLS-Focus coalition has proposed Jernej Vrtovec as Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Valentin Hajdinjak as Minister of Defence, Janez Cigler Kralj as Minister of Agriculture, Mateja Ribič as Minister of Demography, Family, and Social Affairs, and Monika Kirbiš Rojs as Minister of Local Self-Government, Cohesion, and Regional Development. The Democrats proposed three ministers: Anže Logar (economy, labour, and sport), Tadej Ostrc (health), and Mihael Zupančič (justice). (ANSA).
