
(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 28 - Peter Magyar's first trip as Prime Minister to Brussels has begun. The Hungarian leader left Budapest for the European capital in an attempt to reach a tentative agreement with Ursula von der Leyen over frozen EU funds. "The entire government is working to reach an agreement with the President of the European Commission by tomorrow on the return of trillions of guilders in European resources," Magyar wrote on social media before arriving in Brussels. He was joined by Anita Orban, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister. (ANSA).
