I am looking forward to working with you to address our common challenges, such as strengthening our security, economic resilience, and global competitiveness. For Slovenia and for Europe," said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on social media. "Congratulations on your reelection as Prime Minister of Slovenia. I look forward to working with you again at the European Council. The agenda of our June meeting will cover topics of great importance for both Slovenia and Europe: Ukraine, the next long-term EU budget, global economic challenges, and security and defense," said European Council President Antonio Costa. "Congratulations to Janez Jansa on his election as Slovenia's new Prime Minister. "As we build a safer and stronger Europe, we will continue to ensure security, prosperity, and opportunity for the Slovenian people and Europe as a whole," said European Parliament President Roberta Metsola.
