(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 22 - In a joint statement on the West Bank, the leaders of the United Kingdom, Italy, France, and Germany call on "the Israeli government to end the expansion of settlements and administrative powers, ensure accountability for settler violence and investigate allegations against Israeli forces, respect the Hashemite custodianship of the Holy Sites in Jerusalem and the historic agreements on the status quo, and lift financial restrictions on the Palestinian Authority and the Palestinian economy."
