(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 19 - In Germany, the number of employed people decreased in the first quarter of this year compared to the previous quarter. According to the Federal Statistical Office, the number of employed people decreased by 486,000, or 1.1%, from the previous quarter to 45.6 million. The manufacturing (-2.1%) and construction (-1.1%) sectors were disproportionately affected by job losses. (ANSA).
