Go!Games presented, will be held at "Central Park" in Gorica

(ANSA) - GORIZIA, MAY 9 - Gorizia's Central Park will host the third edition of the Go! Games, the cross-border neighborhood games, once again under the banner of friendship and mutual acquaintance. The 13 teams representing as many neighborhoods from the municipalities of Gorizia, Nova Gorica and Šempeter-Vrtojba will compete in the green spaces of Valletta Park on the afternoon of Saturday, May 23, tackling an exciting and engaging series of skill tests, once again renewing the spirit of cooperation that has been the hallmark of Go! 2025. The event is precisely one of the legacies of the European Capital of Culture, having been created to concretize the meeting between the communities of the three cities at the input of the municipal departments of Go! 2025 and Decentralization. While the location represents a great novelty, the formula will be the one tried and tested in the previous two years: the treasure hunt will also return, with a surprise that the participants themselves will discover only on the day itself. In the morning, the youngest will be the protagonists, with the Go! Games School, aimed at 10- to 11-year-old pupils from schools in the three cities, in cooperation with the Gorizia Territorial School Office and the Slovenian counterpart organization. Unmissable, at the opening of the event, the goliardic and non-competitive confrontation that will have the three mayors as protagonists: top secret the test that the first citizens will have to take at 3 p.m., but it can be said that it will be a moment strictly inspired by the tradition of the Games without Borders, an event from which the Go! Games are inspired by. (ANSA).
