(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 11 APR - Damage to the 132 kV Tolmezzo-Paluzza power line on March 25 led to a temporary shutdown of the Paluzza facility while repairs were underway. There was no harm to people or property, and no significant disruption to residents. Terna itself disclosed this, explaining that it immediately informed law enforcement authorities and activated procedures to secure the asset and the affected area. The incident involved physical damage to a transmission tower, not a cyberattack. The power line was shut down for about two days, with repairs completed by March 29. Recent technical problems with the Tal pipeline, which some German media speculated could be sabotage, were denied by Tal management as routine disruptions. The Transalpine pipeline carries crude oil from the port of Trieste to Austria, Bavaria, and the Czech Republic. (ANSA).
